National Review is publishing its “Against Trump” issue tonight, which features an all-star cast of conservative writers, media personalities, and former government officials. Hoping to accomplish what several very well-financed presidential candidates, a host of sputtering Republicans, and Fox News have not, the magazine aims to halt Trump’s momentum as he heads into the first primary contests with his lead as durable as ever. Is it just crazy enough that it might work? The safe bet, as this primary season has shown time and again, is on Trump.
