In the first poll conducted after Trump’s controversial proposal to ban the entry of Muslims into the country, the Donald is looking as good as ever. According to the new Reuters/Ipsos poll, Trump is still commanding 35 percent of GOP voters’ support, with pyramid-grain guy Ben Carson coming in a distant second.
It seems every time Trump says something outrageous and/or deranged the entire media, right and left, predicts it will be his downfall, his Hurricane Katrina, his Waterloo. Yet it is becoming increasingly clear that Donald Trump could punch Sully Sullenberger in the throat on national TV and receive nothing but a modest poll bump in return.
