The internet’s favorite villain and former Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO appeared before a Congressional hearing today, ostensibly to answer questions about the industry’s practice of buying up the rights to vital prescription drugs and then drastically hiking prices. Instead, he spent 45 minutes smirking back at the committee members and refusing to answer any questions, citing his Fifth Amendment rights. He also tweeted.

Before he was dismissed from the room, Rep. Elijah Cummings had an opportunity to lecture Shkreli on basic morals, resulting in four minutes of smug facial expressions that ultimately will only make Shkreli hate himself more.
