Time flies: Just this September, Trump was signing a loyalty pledge to the Republican Party, calming fears that he would run as an independent should the GOP give him too much lip. But, alas, it seems Trump’s loyalty is rather easily tested. After 24 hours of harsh criticism from right and left alike over his “Muslim ban” proposal, Trump mused about an independent run this afternoon on Twitter:
